GUWAHATI, Jan 30: Miscreants on Thursday stole a car from the city after sedating the driver. According to the family members of the driver of the vehicle, Nayan Moni Deka, a group on that day hired the car from Hatigaon area and then intoxicated the driver by mixing some sedatives with food. Later, the driver was found lying in an unconscious state in Sonapur area. Deka is now undergoing treatment at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. A case has been registered with the Hatigaon Police Station in connection with the incident.
