TURA, July 6 - The body of a two-year-old girl, who was feared drowned three days ago, was recovered in Bangladesh this morning. The body was later handed over to the parents.
The minor girl had drowned in the Rongkai river in South West Garo Hills district. The incident took place at Magurmari village under Zikzak Block.
The body was recovered in Bangladesh and the parents later identified the child. The body has been taken to the Tura Civil Hospital for post mortem, said South West Garo Hills SP Bobby W Momin.
