TURA, Jan 20 - A 14 year-old girl, who was traveling to Tura in West Garo Hills (WGH) from North Garo Hills district, has reportedly gone missing after she apparently boarded the wrong bus. According to the missing complaint filed by the family, Sengme Sangma took the bus to Goalpara in Assam instead of the one to Tura following which she is reported missing.
The teen is from Rangket village in Adokgre under Kharkutta Police Station and has been missing since yesterday.
According to the family, as she missed the direct bus from Dhupdhara to Tura, she came down to Daranggre where she apparently boarded the wrong bus. Superintendent of Police, WGH, Dr MGR Kumar said that information has been sent to Assam Police for their help in locating the girl.
