GUWAHATI, Dec 16 - Agriculture Minister Rakibul Hussain today said that automated V-type nurseries can play a big role in uplifting the State�s horticulture sector.
Hussian, who visited the automated V-type nursery set up by the Directorate of Horticulture and Food Processing at Ulubari, said that saplings from the state-of-the-art nursery would be used for boosting horticulture in different districts.
The automated V-type nursery has the capacity to produce 50 lakh saplings annually. Hussain also had a discussion with several farmers.
