GUWAHATI, June 13 - Education Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya visited �Assam Startup � The Nest� here today to meet the first batch of startups incubated at the State-owned incubator. Four incubated startups working in the education sector made presentations before the Minister.

He expressed satisfaction about the initiative that is driven towards supporting the startups and enabling them to transform their ideas into ventures. Bhattacharya was also informed about the new initiative taken by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam, to introduce skill-based subjects in schools for more career-oriented education and proposed to collaborate with Assam Startup � The Nest towards the objective. He was accompanied by senior officials, including Ravi Capoor, Additional Chief Secretary (Industries and Commerce) and Maninder Singh, Principal Secretary (Education).
