GUWAHATI, Nov 17 � Miles Bronson Residential School, Borjhar, Guwahati, winner of the CBSE Cluster I Football Tournament 2014 and the sole representative of the North East Region in the CBSE National Soccer Tournament held at Anand, Gujarat from November 10 to 15, came fourth and won the best disciplined team award.
In the play-off match for the third position, after going down in the semifinal, the Borjhar school was defeated by Mamta Modern Senior Secondary School, New Delhi. In the semifinal they were beaten by Bokaro Ispat School, Jharkhand. Altogether 32 teams took part in the championship, three of which had come from Doha, Oman and the UAE, stated a release.
