GUWAHATI, April 24 - Metro Sports Club stormed into the final of the 3rd Golap Hazarika and Arati Hazarika Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament defeating Accountant General Sports Club by 34 runs in the first semifinal at the Judges� Field here today.

Put in to bat, Metro batsmen managed 150 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. Erik Roy top scored for his side with 42 runs while Samik Das and Imtiaz Hussain picked up three wickets each.

In reply, Accountant General Sports Club could only manage 116 runs before being bundled out in 17.1 overs. Rishav Das scored 26 runs while Chanakya Sarma scalped three wickets for his side.

Chanakya Sharma walked away with the man of the match honour. Host City Cricket Club (A) will lock horns with Gauhati Town Club in the second semifinal tomorrow.
