Met forcasts rains in Arunachal till May 12

GUWAHATI, May 9 - From today onwards, moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur in most parts of Arunachal Pradesh for four days till May 12, while many places over Assam-Meghalaya Meteorological Sub-division are very likely to experience moderate rain or thundershower for three days till May 11, said sources in the Borjhar-based Regional Meteorology Centre (RMC) here this evening.

Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh and Assam-Meghalaya on May 11 and 12, while most of the places over the Met Sub-division are very likely to experience moderate rain and thunder shower on May 12, RMC sources said.

Light rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura Met Sub-division on May 9 and 10, while light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at few places over the Met Sub-division on May 11, 12 and 13.
