KOLKATA, Feb 17 (PTI) - With the Met department forecasting an improvement in weather tomorrow, the Indian cricket team - seven wicket shy of a series-levelling win against South Africa - will have a reason to smile on the final day.
Rain and bad light played a spoilsport today even as Indian spinners Amit Mishra and Harbhajan Singh rattled the South African top-order to reduce them to 115 for three - 232 runs behind India with seven wickets in hand.
Director of Indian Meteorological department (Regional Centre) GC Debnath told PTI that things would be better tomorrow.
"Weather would improve tomorrow. There could be an early morning mist but gradually it will clear up," he said.
It was due to cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal, there was showers last night and today afternoon, he added.
