GUWAHATI, Jan 15 - The Allen Career Institute organised a felicitation programme in connection with its talent encouragement exam � TALLENTEX 2020 � at the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra auditorium here on January 12, stated a press release issued here today.

Meritorious students from various cities of the Northeast and their parents attended the event. Students from Class V to Class X received cash rewards, medals, certificates and scholarships up to 90 per cent for the classroom course of the academic session 2020-21 at the institute.

The chief guest for the event was Pulak Mahanta, ACS, Deputy Secretary, Handloom, Textile and Sericulture Department, Govt of Assam, and Managing Director, Assam Government Marketing Corporation Ltd. The guest of honour was Jeevan Jyoti Agarwal, vice president, Allen Career Institute.

A cultural programme was a highlight of the event, in which students of the Guwahati centre presented a delightful performance.

Brajesh Kumar Yadav, head of the Guwahati centre, also addressed the gathering.
