ITANAGAR, Sept 21 - Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein today flagged off the construction of 10.90 km stretch of NH-415 from Chandranagar to Papu Nallah at Chandranagar bridge point here. The construction would transform the NH-415 to a four-lane highway.
Speaking on the occasion, Mein asked the executing agency to complete the work before the targeted time of three years.
Aiming to adopt global best practices in road building, the government will encourage use of modern technology as it plans to improve road designing and bring down maintenance cost, the Deputy CM said. The EPC contractor TK Engineering Consortium Pvt Ltd will execute the work estimated to cost Rs 196.16 crore.
