SHILLONG, Sept 29 - One more person has succumbed to COVID-19, while 101 new positive cases were reported across Meghalaya in the past 24 hours. The death toll in the State has now risen to 47.
Out of the new cases, 54 were reported from East Khasi Hills district and 37 from West Garo Hills district. As many as 72 patients have also recovered from the infection during the last 24 hours.
With the new cases and recoveries, the active cases in Meghalaya now stand at 1,476. Moreover, 3,940 patients have also recovered from the infection.
