SHILLONG, Aug 25 - The State�s total positive cases today crossed the 2,000 mark after 42 new positive cases were reported across the State in the past 24 hours. The total COVID-19 cases reported in the State so far stand at 2,036.
Meanwhile, 43 patients also recovered from the disease, taking the total recoveries to 832 in the State. The active cases have come down to 1,178.
The first COVID-19 case was reported on April 13. It took nearly four months for the State to cross the 1,000 mark on August 7. However, the next 1,000 cases have been reported in just 18 days.
