SHILLONG, April 24 - All 11 active COVID-19 patients in Meghalaya have remained in a stable state and no new cases have been reported from any part of the State so far.

The State Government has stated that till Friday, 1,130 samples have been tested and 1,048 were found negative. Results of the other samples are still awaited.

The State Government has already announced that retail stores selling essential commodities will open on four weekdays from Monday. They were, however, closed today as the relaxation period ended and curfew was reimposed. However, wholesale stores will remain open from Friday till Sunday to replenish their stocks, as per the State Governments guidelines.
