GUWAHATI, Aug 23 - A meeting of the District Development Committee (DDC) of Kamrup Metro was held at the Deputy Commissioner�s office here today with Barnali Sarma, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup Metro in the chair.
The meeting reviewed implementation of various ongoing government schemes in the district.
The fishery department was asked to compile a detailed report about schemes taken up by it during the last three years and submit it at the next meeting of the DDC.
The health department was directed to take steps for preventing spread of dengue in the city and coordinate with the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) in this regard.
Senior officials from various departments took part in today�s meeting.
