�Meeting of Minds� at DU from Nov 13-15

DIBRUGARH, Nov 11 - The 2015 edition of the three-day �SANMILAN � Meeting of Minds�, which connotes the assembly of intellectuals organised annually by the Centre for Management Studies, Dibrugarh University(DU) will be held from November 13 to 15, a press release stated.

�Commerce, Culture and Connectivity: Bridging North East India with South East Asia� is the theme chosen for this year. The keynote address will be delivered by former Secretary, Union Ministry of Tourism and member of North Eastern Council, Madan Prasad Bezbaruah. He is also honorary Permanent Representative of UN-WTO and Director of the Administrative Staff College of India. Further, the Director of Finance, Numaligarh Refinery Limited, SK Barua will attend as the guest of honour.

A host of other intellectuals are also expected from the industry and academic institutions who will interact with the students on the theme over a panel discussion, direct interactions and other competitive events.

The competitive events include a business plan competition, open business quiz, photo-documentary competition, integrated marketing communications (IMC) competitions and other programmes related to the theme of the intellectual convergence.

The three-day intellectual convergence will have 12 separate events out of which eight will be competitive, where student delegates will compete for a total prize money of Rs 73,500. Further information may be had by those interested by contacting the organisers.
