GUWAHATI, Jan 6 - The Policy Group For People�s Rights (PGPR), Dibrugarh, a leading NGO of upper Assam, will hold its second PGPR Adda on January 10 to discuss how India�s Act East Policy affects Assam in general and Dibrugarh in particular, a press release stated.

The lead panellists will be Jaimini Bhagawati, former Indian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and the European Union and Bhaskar K Mitra, former Indian ambassador to Myanmar together with Dr Nagen Saikia, former president, Asam Sahitya Sabha and Prof Alak Kumar Buragohain, Vice Chancellor, Dibrugarh University.

The event will take place at 4 pm in the conference room of Hotel Tea County, Convoy Road at Dibrugarh. The organisers have also invited the members of civil society to take part in the discussion and make it a success.
