GUWAHATI, April 22 � The semifinals and the final of the football event of the 2nd Airtel North East Media Sports Festival will be played at the Nehru Stadium here tomorrow.
In two quarterfinal matches played today, News Live defeated Dainik Janasadharan 4-1 while DY 365 got the better of NETV 2-0. Madan Hajong of News Live was the hero of the day who scored all the four goals for his team, while Khairul Ali reduced the margin.
In the other quarterfinal, Ratul Das and Abani Kalita netted one each for DY 365.
In the semifinals, News Live will play against Shillong Press Club while DY 365 will lock horns with Dainik Batori. Both the semifinals will be kicked off at 2 pm and the final will start at 4 pm.
