GUWAHATI, Dec 9 - Media Management and hosts Assam Sports Journalists Association (ASJA) won their respective matches on the opening day of the TOPCEM-ASJA Inter Media T20 Tournament at the Judges� Field here today.
In the first match of the day, Media Management defeated Gauhati Press Club by three wickets while in the second encounter ASJA earned a facile 38-run victory against Prasar Bharati.
The tournament was formally inaugurated by Dr Anil Kapoor, president (sales and marketing) Meghalaya Cements Limited in the presence of former Assam Ranji team captain Zakaria Zuffri; sports organiser Rajib Prakash Baruah; Nabajyoti Basumatary, Assistant Director of Sports and Youth Welfare, among others.
