UDALGURI, Oct 13 � Mazbat College will celebrate its silver jubilee from October 17 to 19 on the college premises with a three-day programme.
A celebration committee was also formed recently with Rakheswar Brahma, MLA of Mazbat LAC as president, Shyam Sundi, former executive member of BTC as working president and Dr Pradip Kr Sarmah, principal of Mazbat College as general secretary respectively while many sub committees were formed for smooth conduct of the programme.
The silver jubilee celebration committee has appealed to all the former students, teachers and well-wishers to keep in close touch with it and has invited all of them on to take part in the celebrations.
Mazbat College was set up on August 25, 1988 to meet the growing needs of higher education in that remote region of Udalguri district.
