GUWAHATI, March 29 - Matri, an organisation working for child rights in the North East, will celebrate its 10th annual day with a programme at the Vivekananda Kendra from 11 am on March 31, stated a press release issued here today.
Nirbhoy, a short documentary will be shown to create awareness about child sexual abuse and the POCSO Act.
Kausar Jamil Hilaly, Commissioner, Disabilities, Government of Assam, will deliver the annual lecture on children and disabilities.
Dr Sunita Changkakoti, chairperson of the Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, will release the video Nirbhoy. Sishu Sarothi chairperson Ketaki Bardoloi will release the organisation�s annual journal Voice of Matri (Volume VII).
