Matri celebrates annual day

GUWAHATI, April 8 - Matri, an organisation working for child rights, celebrated its ninth annual day yesterday.

Arman Ali, executive director of Shishu Sarothi here, released the sixth edition of the organisation�s annual journal, Voice of Matri, during the event held at Gauhati Club, a press release said today.

Matri and Hope Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Psychology, Cotton University, had earlier organised a state-level consultation on mental health and substance abuse. Sunita Sheshadri, Assistant Director of NIPPCD, delivered a presentation on child mental health.

Mukul Bora of World Vision India, Md Rabiul Islam of Hope Foundation and office-bearers of Child Friendly Guwahati and Snehalaya were also present.
