GANGTOK, July 4 � A reception was organised at Raj Bhawan here today for the pilgrims of the first batch of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra through Nathula. They had reached the State capital yesterday on completion of the Yatra.

On June 16 these pilgrims had embarked on the Yatra from New Delhi and a flag off ceremony was hosted by Sikkim here in the State capital for them on June 18.

They were the first batch of pilgrims to have visited Kailash Mansarovar through the new route of Nathula Pass.

The function was attended by Governor Shriniwas Patil, Chief Minister Pawan Chamling and others.
