GUWAHATI, April 25 � The 209th birth anniversary of 1857 Sepoy Mutiny martyr Maniram Dewan will be celebrated under the auspices of the Swahid Maniram Dewan Trust tomorrow.
The day has been celebrated for the last two years as Entrepreneurs� Day. This year�s lecture on the occasion will be delivered by Dr Mridul Hazarika, Vice Chancellor, Gauhati University at a public meeting to be held at Hotel Ambarish at 4 pm tomorrow.
Arun Kumar Baruah, great grandson of Maniram Dewan and working president of the trust, and senior journalist DN Chakravartty who is president of the trust, have appealed to the people to attend the function.
