IMPHAL, Dec 19 � Manipuri film actor Momoko was allegedly molested and assaulted by a suspected hill-based militant during a music concert in Chandel district headquarters yesterday.
The incident took place at Maha Union Higher Secondary School of the district headquarter, reports said. The actor in her early twenties was anchoring a concert along with her mother at the hill district headquarter. Expressing serious concern, Manipur Film Forum (MFF), has demanded arrest of the involved persons. Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Forum president L Surjakanta Sharma urged the government to take necessary action against the culprit immediately. �We have decided to stop all kind of film-related activities in the State until and unless the involved person is booked as per law of the land�, said Surjakanta.
Momoko alleged that the armed man in a drunken state came backstage where she was sitting and molested her.
