IMPHAL, April 29 - All 18 Treasuries and Sub-Treasuries in Manipur have gone online.
Disclosing this to reporters here on Thursday, Director of Treasuries & Accounts Ch Ajit Singh said that 11district treasuries and seven Sub-Treasuries which are fully functional in the State have also been converted to Banking Treasuries.
He informed that government payments including payment of salaries and personal entitlements to employees, vendor payments, payment of pension to pensioners/family pensioners are being done through treasuries and sub-treasuries.
On digitisation of Pension records, he said that infrastructure of some of treasuries & sub-treasuries are poor and construction of Thoubal Treasury and Kakching Sub-Treasury are in full swing and will be completed in 2018.
