IMPHAL, Feb 19 - Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh today said that the State Government is taking up steps to introduce rope ways at different locations to promote tourism in the State.
The rope ways will be introduced at Langol view point, Heingang and Thanga, Singh said while making a statement during the ongoing Assembly session on Monday.
Stating that the tourism projects will be taken up on a priority basis, he said one golf field will also be developed in Manipur as part of the upcoming projects.
He said a 120 feet tall statue of a polo player sitting on horseback will be installed at the complex of Lord Marjing at Heingang.
