B Thanglaawam and GG Taboi scored two goals each, while Dayanand Singh, Bishorjit Singh, Jockey Singh and Sushil Metei netted one each during the match.
Meanwhile, in the last set of preliminary matches, Madhya Pradesh thrashed Himachal Pradesh 6-1, while Manipur emerged cluster VI toppers to make the cut.
MP scored through Ashirbad Dabodia (two goals), Mahendra Chauhan (two), Ashish Silavat and Munnalal in their inconsequential cluster VI match.
Himachal Pradesh reduced the margin through a solitary strike by Tarun.
Meghalaya also advanced into the quarterfinal after finishing best among the runners-up thus completing the final eight line-up.
