IMPHAL, Nov 5 - Manipur has reported two more COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, official sources said here today. The virus toll in the State is now 189.
In the last 24 hours, two persons � a 66-year-old male from Kamjong and a 54-year-old female from Thoubal � expired at the RIMS Hospital, stated an official release.
Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, 207 civilians and 15 personnel from the Central Armed Police Forces have been confirmed positive. The new COVID-19 cases were detected at 22 testing facilities in the State.
Meanwhile, 132 persons were discharged from 13 COVID care facilities in the last 24 hours.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the State is 19,725, while the numbers of active and recovered cases are 3,786 and 15,750 respectively. The recovery rate in the State currently stands at 79.84 per cent.
