LEIMAKHONG (MANIPUR), Dec 17 - Manipur and Meghalaya Governor V Shanmuganathan on Thursday inaugurated an Ex-Servicemen rally held by Army�s Red Shield Division here, about 20 km north of Imphal.

Lt Gen Abhay Krishna, General Officer Commanding Spear Corps, Major General PN Rao, General Officer Commanding Red Shield Division, Major General VS Srinivas, IGAR (South) attended the rally.

Inaugurating the rally, the Governor lauded the efforts of Red Shield Division for organising the rally under one umbrella. Lt Gen Krishna stated that welfare of ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and World War-II veterans will be given topmost priority.
