NEW DELHI, Jan 19 � In an incident of violence against a woman from the North-east, a 20-year-old girl from Manipur was raped last night in Dwarka area of the capital.
Though a complaint has been lodged, the Delhi Police has taken no action to nab the culprit, alleged North East Support Centre, an NGO.
The NGO has informed that neither an FIR has been registered, nor action taken to nab the culprit by the concerned police station till filing of this report. The victim hails from Churachandpur district in Manipur. She came to Delhi in 2010 and is presently working at a spa centre at Gurgaon.
