IMPHAL, June 16 - Doctors and hospitals in Manipur will be joining the Monday�s nationwide protest against the frequent attacks and violence on doctors across the country.
The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Manipur State Branch has made an announcement to the effect, sources said on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters, IMA State unit president Dr Shyamkumar Laishram said the recent brutal attack on Dr Paribaha Mukherjee of NRS Medical College and the West Bengal Government�s reluctance to assure the striking doctors have led to condemnations and protests across India.
