Manipur Class XII results out

IMPHAL, July 17 - Manipur Education Minister Dr Thokchom Radheshyam Singh and other Education Department officials today announced the results of the Class XII examinations conducted this year by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM).

The total pass percentage in all the streams of Science, Arts and Commerce for 2020 is 86, which is the highest pass percentage in the past three years.

A total of 29,072 students appeared in the examinations. Archana Hijam of Meci Explorer Academy, Imphal, topped the examination in the Science stream with a total 485 marks.

In Commerce, Justin Yendrabam of TG Higher Secondary School top-scored with 448 marks. Khomdram Menaka Devi of TG Higher Secondary School is the topper in the Arts stream with a total 464 marks.

Girl students outshone boys with a pass percentage of 82.43 and 75.90 in Arts and Commerce respectively against the boys� 75.69 and 65.59 respectively. The pass percentage of the boy candidates (89.40) is, however, marginally better than the girls (89.16) in the Science stream.
