MANGALDAI, April 3 - Mangaldai Town Club annexed the A Division Inter Club Senior Super League Limited Overs Cricket Tournament title organised by Mangaldai Sports Association (MSA) at Mangaldai today.
In an exciting final match played at the Mangaldai Stadium here, Mangaldai Town Club got the better of Mangaldai United Club by one wicket with 2.3 overs to spare.
United Club opting to bat first scored 124 losing all the wickets in the stipulated 25 over.
Mangaldai Town Club boys hit the winning run in 22.3 overs losing nine wickets.
In the closing function, Army Pradyut Kr Emong, MSA secretary Anupam Deka, Chairman Mangaldai Municipal Board Pratap Bodoloi, among others were present as guests and gave away the prizes.
