GUWAHATI, May 13 � Mangaldai and Tezpur moved ahead in the third Umananda Bora Memorial U-13 Inter District Cricket tournament organised by the Assam Cricket Association.
At the Nehru Stadium here today, Mangaldai posted a six-wicket victory against Udalguri while Tezpur got a walkover against Lakhimpur. Put into bat, Udalguri managed to gather 110 for eight in the stipulated 25 overs. Chasing the target, Mangaldai scored 111 in 22 overs losing four wickets. Koustav Limbu top scored with 43 of 62 balls. The second match of the day did not take place as the e Lakhimpur team was not present.
