MANGALDAI, Aug 10 - Defending champions Kehotoli Bangrim Club drubbed Blue Bird Club 4-1 in the inaugural match of the Dr Revati Mohan Bordoloi Memorial Inter Club Super Division Football League, organised by Mangaldai Sports Association (MSA) at Mangaldai Vidyapith playground on Friday.
Chittaranjan Boro struck twice (10th and 40th minute) while Sachin Boro (15th minute) and Debojit Boro (50th minute) scored a goal each for the winners. Nur Aamin reduced the margin for Blue Bird in the 31st minute.
Earlier the championship was inaugurated by Pankaj Chakra-vorty, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Darrang in the presence of local MLA and MSA president Gurujyoti Das and Pratap Bordoloi.
