JALAH, Oct 18 � Manas National Park was re-opened for the tourist from today.
Thampa Borgiyary, BTC deputy chief, in-charge of Forest and Tourism department attended a ceremonial function held at Basbari range office in Manas and declared the park re-open for the tourist, in presence of A Swargiyary, head of department, Forest and Wildlife, BTC and other senior officials of Manas Park.
In his speech, he said that the Council has taken up several steps to develop the Manas National Park and make it an important tourist destination. He said the BTC authority is making necessary measures to make the Manas more tourists friendly.
