MORIGAON, April 9 � A woodcutter was killed inside the Pobitora wildlife Sanctuary when a male adult rhino attacked him around 11 am today. According to forest department sources, the incident took place near Pipolbari camp where the man was illegally felling trees. The deceased was identified as Digen Medhi of Bordia village.
In another incident a tiger coming out from Orang National Park crossed the Brahmaputra and attacked the villagers at Baralimari village under Bhuragaon circle in Morigaon district in the wee hours today injuring five persons seriously. The injured have been admitted to Morigaon Civil Hospital.
