ITANAGAR, March 19 � The Itanagar Police on Monday arrested one person for his alleged involvement in a forgery case.
According to police, it came to light that the accused had forged the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister�s signature and attempted to use forged documents for obtaining supply works.
During investigation, it was revealed that Kome Yangfo, proprietor of NT Enterprise, Naharlagun had forged the signature of Chief Minister and tried to use the forged documents for getting supply orders.
Based on a written complaint from the CM�s Office, a Special Police Team was constituted under the supervision of Dy SP Bomge Kamduk, SDPO Itanagar. Alerts were sent to all districts and finally, the alleged accused person was arrested from Daporijo, the headquarters of Upper Subansiri district.
