DHUBRI, Jan 24 - One Mona Hussain, a resident of IG Road, Ghoshpara here died on Thursday night while trying to escape a police raid.
According to information, police raided a gambling counter situated at railway crossing area near IG Road, Ghoshpara on Thursday night.
Hussain ran to escape the raid and jumped into a nearby pond. After a search, he was fished out of the pond and rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
