Silchar, February 9: Based on secret input, a team of Cachar police led by Lakhipur SDPO conducted an operation and arrested a person and recovered 100 grams of suspected heroin. Police informed that the arrested person has been identified as Abdul Hasan (42) alias Ibrahim, a resident of Chirirpar part-I under Lakhipur police station.
Police further informed that the drug consignment was kept in eight soap cases. In this regard a case no-30/21 U/S 21(b) NDPS Act against the apprehended accused has been registered, police said.
