TEZPUR, May 11 - Sensation prevailed in Bihaguri-Pithakhowa area on Thursday following killing of a 25-year-old youth by his father.
According to the information available, the deceased named Dhrubajyoti Nath was the son of Ramani Nath, a member of Pithakhowa village VDP party under Bihaguri police outpost. Dhrubajyoti reportedly went missing almost a week ago.
However, the body of the youth was found on Thursday, buried in a nearby agricultural field.
After police apprehended the accused father, the latter confessed his guilt.
On the other hand, a section of irate local people vandalised the house of Ramani Nath.
