PATACHARKUCHI, Aug 3 - The Barpeta zila samiti of Hindu Yuba Chatra Parishad yesterday evening staged a strong protest at Pathsala against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress party.
They burnt the effigy of Mamata Banerjee to register protest following her controversial comments against the NRC and her latest inflammatory remarks so as to ignite communal tension in the State.
The Hindu Yuba Chatra Parishad activists gathered in large numbers with strong support from various local organisations. They shouted slogans against the irresponsible and reprehensive behaviour of Mamata Banerjee.
