ITANAGAR, Sept 23 - Arunachal Pradesh first lady Neelam Misra on Monday urged the people of the state to do away with plastics and minimise its use in daily life, stated an official press release.

Interacting with officials and staff of Raj Bhavan, Itanagar, she urged upon the citizens of Arunachal Pradesh to keep the environment clean, green, healthy and plastic-free.

She said efforts should start from home, and asked the officials to cooperate in keeping the Raj Bhavan complex clean and plastic-free.
