SHILLONG, April 23 - Major General PK Saini has taken over as Chief of Staff, 101 Area Headquarters.
Maj Gen Saini was commissioned in the Mechanised Infantry Regiment in 1985. During his 33 years of service, he has held important positions at Siachen, Line of Control, Rashtriya Rifles, United Nations (Lebanon), Army Headquarters, Delhi, and has also commanded a Mechanised Infantry Unit and an Armoured Brigade.
