Mahasweta bags double crown

GUWAHATI, July 19 � Mahasweta Batsallya of Guwahati has won a double crown after lifting the youth girl�s and women�s titles in the the Don Bosco Alumni organised 5th All Assam Open Ranking Table Tennis Championships here last evening.

In the youth girl�s final, Mahasweta beat beat Priya Dutta of Dibrugarh 4-0 and in women�s final she overcame Sanjana Sarma of Sivasagar 4-2.

In the closing function, Debabrata Saikia, MLA and Member Secretary of the State Level Advisory Committe for Students and Youth Welfare was present as chief guest.
