GUWAHATI, July 13 � Informing that the case diary of the Panbazar case was never stolen, Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today alleged that peasant leader Akhil Gogoi is being misled by two-time former Chief Minister Prafulla Kr Mahanta who is hatching a conspiracy not only to settle his scores with him but also to �destroy� the present leadership of the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP).
Sarma sought to link Mahanta with Akhil Gogoi saying that he after getting access to the interaction done in a social networking site (Facebook) by Mahanta�s son came to know that both the AGP leader and his son are all part of the conspiracy.
The Government spokesperson also tried to draw
conclusions on Mahanta�s involvement in facilitating Akhil Gogoi the access to the missing case diary of the Chandmari police station.
�In the submission made by the witnesses before the designated court, none of the witnesses took my name,� he said.
When asked, he said that the evidences he has are enough to launch a political war against the oppositions.
He, while alleging that Mahanta gave him a CD containing sensational revelations, said that he is going to hand over to the AGP leadership tomorrow.
