Mahanta misleading Akhil: Himanta

By Staff reporter

GUWAHATI, July 13 Informing that the case diary of the Panbazar case was never stolen, Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today alleged that peasant leader Akhil Gogoi is being misled by two-time former Chief Minister Prafulla Kr Mahanta who is hatching a conspiracy not only to settle his scores with him but also to destroy the present leadership of the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP).

Sarma sought to link Mahanta with Akhil Gogoi saying that he after getting access to the interaction done in a social networking site (Facebook) by Mahantas son came to know that both the AGP leader and his son are all part of the conspiracy.

The Government spokesperson also tried to draw

conclusions on Mahantas involvement in facilitating Akhil Gogoi the access to the missing case diary of the Chandmari police station.

In the submission made by the witnesses before the designated court, none of the witnesses took my name, he said.

When asked, he said that the evidences he has are enough to launch a political war against the oppositions.

He, while alleging that Mahanta gave him a CD containing sensational revelations, said that he is going to hand over to the AGP leadership tomorrow.
