GUWAHATI, May 26 � The Kamrup Mahanagar Zila Sahitya Sabha has constituted four zonal committees in order to establish closer co-ordination among 43 Sakha Sabhas of the district body, a press release said.
The first meeting of the Eastern Zonal Committee will be held on May 28 at 3 pm at the Lakshiram Barua Sadan to chalk out a detailed plan of action for 13 Sakha Sabhas and give new guidelines for implementation.
The secretary of the Mahanagar Zila Sahitya Sabha, Dimbeswar Pathak has requested all the representatives of the zonal committee to attend the meeting, the release added.
