TINSUKIA, Feb 18 - Lumding Division emerged champions in the NF Railway Inter Divisional Cricket Tournament defeating NF Railway Construction Division in the final played at the Katchujan field of the Tinsukia District Sports Association here today by 9 wickets.
Opting to bat first, Construction Division were all out for 107 in 22.2 overs. Parag Das was their top scorer with 37 runs. For Lumding, Nandulal Mahato took 4 wickets. In reply Lumding scored 108 for the loss of one wicket in 12.5 overs. Siva Prasad Dev was their highest scorer with 43 runs.
The individual prize winners were-Parag Das (best batsman), Deep Borah (best bowler), Mrigen Talukdar (man-of-the-tournament), Nandulal Mahato (man-of-the-final).
In the closing function, prizes were distributed by Dinabandhu Singh, Additional Divisional Manager of the Tinsukia Railway Division and Deborkhi Mohan Neog, president of NFR Tinsukia Divisional Employees� Union.
