Like every year, the Purbanchal Shree Ayyappa Mandir, Guwahati is celebrating the ‘Prathistha Dina Mahotsav’ on January 27-28.
As per information from the temple administration, the programmes on January 27 include deeparadhana, acharyavarnanam, prasada shudhi, vasthubali and Athazha puja and Harivarasanam.
The programme on January 28, will begin at 5 am with Nirmalya darshanam to be followed by ashtadravya ganapathi homam, usha puja, kalasham puja and upadevatha kalasham at 9 am, kalabham puja at 10 am, kalashabhishekam, ucha puja and arathi at 11 am. At 6 pm deeparadhana will be held to be followed by other programmes like pushpabhishekam, bhagavathi seva and bhajan, Athazha puja, Harivarasanam with annadanam. The temple authorities have appealed to all devotees to participate in the celebrations. This was stated in a press release.
